Location:Q Power Station, Power Plant Mall
Guitar Freaks Version: V
Play style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-A, Combo Off, rest is deafult
Good moments: Playing GF V
Bad moments: Failed two times on Mei Li De Jie Xiang on Advanced due to a complicated set of notes :(
Songs played: Mei Li De Jie Xiang, Twinkle Star, Liar and other songs

I have decided to test myself on good how I am. I played some songs I'm familiar with and then I attempted Mei Li De Jie Xiang on Advanced (Difficulty 26). I can't believe I failed!!! As I went for my second batch and played Mei Li De Jie Xiang again, I failed again! My problem right now is the complicated set of notes after the first verse. I lose my touch when I make a miss sometimes. It's hard for me to do something like that because of my current skill level... What can I do? *cries*

Oh well, I hope I can play it again and see if I can master it... :

Location:Q Power Station, Shangri-La mall
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good moments: Meeting the PPF members!
Bad moments: Missed the last note of "Twinkle Star", failed the song Taisetsu na Mono in Advanced, failing to break the difficulty barrier up to 32...
Songs played: Sobaksu, Twinkle Star, Taisetsu na Mono and other titles in Japanese

I was lucky to meet some of the top guns of PPF! I was able to see their great talents and I wanted to show them my abilities as well.

Before that, I just had a little game and I'm getting used to Twinkle Star. Some notes were rapid and have a peculiar beat that I need to master. There's this one song I like but I don't know it's romanization. So far, I'm beginning to enter the world of Advanced. On my extra stage, I failed Taisetsu na Mono in advanced. Man, I wanted to break my barrier up to 33 but I failed... :(

A PPF member arrived and I managed to get acquainted. The master has also appeared to have some fun as well. Other members arrived as well and I managed to get acquainted as well. I have a bad memory with names, especially if there's too many people and I just met them on that day. When I played after the master is done, decided to play it the safe way (so I can save myself from embarrassment (^.^;) ) I don't think I was impressive and I failed to get any assessment from one of them. Probably they were too busy talking to each other...

I am so excited to play GF V tomorrow and today is indeed a great opportunity for me! :D

Location: Q Power Station, Shangri-La mall
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play Style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good moments: Fixed settings, tried Twinkle Star and cleared
Bad moments: Beginning to experience a decline in talent...
Songs played: Sobakasu, Twinkle Star and more (not familiar with some titles in Japanese)

Well, I decided to play a game of GF 11th Mix to check out the settings. It was fixed for the long song durations and I decided to take an opportunity to try one (not Departure, please!).

The songs I played were familiar but I sucked at two of them. I need more exposure, experience and practice. I attempted to play Twinkle Star and I cleared it. Twinkle Star's beats are jazzy and a bit irregular. I still need more exposure to Twinkle Star.

This has been a great experience for me. Hope you readers have a good time!

Location: Q Power Station, Power Plant Mall
Guitar Freaks Version: V
Play Style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-A, Combo Off, rest is default
Good moments: Playing GF V, new settings, difficulty barrier up to 32!
Bad moments: Not able to session woth my sisters, sucking on some songs in Advance
Songs played: Liar, Mei Li De Jie Xiang, Sobakasu, "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round", po't-purri de marmalade and more (can't remember)

My sisters had a plan in going to Power Plant Mall and enjoy a good time. I decided to tag along to take advantage of this opportunity.

I acutally played Wangan Midnight Maximum Tune 2 most of the time but I had some time to play GF V. I played alone first, then one of my sisters on bass and then with my sister with both of us in lead. My sister was interested in making her sequence speed faster. She liked it because it lets her see the gaps in between notes.

I tried goin session with my sisters but I wondered why it didn't worked... Bad timing? Better find out...

When I played Liar with my sister, I decided to go to Advance and try it out. It was challenging but worth my time! ;)

I can't wait to play there again!

Location: Q Power Station, Shangri-La mall
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play Style: 3.0x Speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good moments: Played with a kind stranger, Breaking the difficulty barrier up tp 30!
Bad moments: Failed a song... (forgot what was it...)
Songs played: Yake no Gahara, Save a Little Something, "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round", Sobakasu, Sa-Da-Me, begin, Kagonotori, Mr. Bobby and more...

Well, good things and bad things happen on this experience. A stranger talked to me and I told him that the latest version of Guitar Freaks was V and it was located in Q Power Station, Power Plant Mall, Rockwell. Sure, I knew that it has over 250+ songs there!

I even played with this stranger and he was a decent player. There some songs I began to suck at but I wasn't giving up! I took the opportunity to practice some choreography in certain songs that need some wild movement and stances for wailing bonuses.

I treated my friend since he wanted to give it a try and I am amazed at his skill level! ;) Oh yeah, it's currently set to FIVE STAGES!!! Unfortunately, long song duration was set to FIVE STAGES!!! :( Well, let's see if I can ask the manager if he can set it to a fair setting... ;)

Location: Q Power Station, Shangri-La Mall
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play Style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good Moments: Playing decently, playing in Advanced
Bad moments: Aching right hand and wrist! (ouch!)
Songs played: Sobakasu, "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round", Tentaikansoku, Kagonotori, begin, super "shomin" car, Believe in Love, Rolling1000toon and more (kinda forgot)

Well, I decided to enjoy 11th Mix when I have the chance... and I did! :) I just played some familiar songs (can't stop plying Sobaksu) and tried Rolling1000toon. I dared to try Believe in Love in Advance because the difficulty rating for advanced is 26. I pulled it off nicely but I just need more getting used to.

Playing this game continuously gave me an aching right hand and wrist! I'm just too desperate to become a decent player so I can go session with some friends... :(

Location: Q Power Station, Shangri-La
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good moments: Breaking the difficulty barrier at 27! Played some "Advanced" songs!
Bad moments: Failed P.P.R. and Departure (for 4 times! :( )
Songs played: Sobakasu, "Luvly, Merry-Go-Round", Kagonotori, begin, Himawari, Chikara, Break Down, Mr. Bobby, Departure, P.P.R., super "shomin" car, Russian Roulette, Sa-Da-Me, infinite and many more!

I couldn't help it! I was soooo obsessed with playing Guitar Freaks since I have easy access to one! Well, let's start talking!

First, I played a nice batch of songs. I decided to take a risk by playing Sobakasu. Sure, I sucked at first but I continued playing a I get S at certain times! I even took risks by playing songs I'm not familiar with at first. I was so proud of clearing Sobakasu, I even enjoyed playing continiously!

I tried to play some songs in Advanced and boy was I happy at my performance!

And then, my lack of ability arises. I FAILED DEPARTURE FOUR TIMES IN A ROW!!! I wanna cry in defeat and loss... I tried all I can but I always fail on the part after the last vocals. I even failed on an attempt on P.P.R. (actually, I almost failed on one attempt...).

I just someone out there can teach some tricks. I really want to become a decent GF player...

Location: Q Power Station, Shangri-La Mall
Guitar Freaks Version: 11th Mix
Play style: 3.0x speed, Position Type-D, rest is default
Good moments: Having a GF game in Shangri-La! (and helping test it!) :D
Bad moments: Faulty session speakers
Songs played: Sa-Da-Me, po't-purri de marmalade, Russian Roulette, Himawari, Monster Tree, Sobakasu, begin, Infinite, Kagonotori, Yake no Gahara and Luvly MerryGoRound

YAY! A Guitar Freaks game in Shangri-La! Did I ever enjoy testing the game since the speakers sound weird whenever session mode is on. That the only disappointment but nevertheless, I was rockin' all day!

There were a lot of good songs in there but not as much as GF V! Well, I'm getting pretty excited that I'm going to Rockwell soon. Can't wait to try 11th Mix again! :D

Location: Club Synergy, SM Megamall
Guitar Freaks Version: 6th Mix
Play style: 3x Speed, rest is default
Good moments: Full combo on Arigatone basic, getting an A in Fireball!
Bad moments: Hmmm... No bad moments...
Songs played: Arigatone, Happy Man, Tentaikansoku and Fireball

Just played to get my guitar skills in shape and just to enjoy Guitar Freaks. Played Arigatone and managed to give it a Full Combo! Tentaikansoku challenged me a bit but I didn't give on it. I just loved the song... Happy Man was really tricky in a way but I pulled though. I got grades of S in all three songs.

As I prepared for Fireball, I got tired on certain notes but there were some that help me recover. I managed to do the finale really good. As a result I got an A. Yeehaw!

I can't wait for a surprise soon... I'm not telling! ;)

Location: Q Power Station, Eastwood City Walk II
Guitar Freaks Version: 4th Mix and 11th Mix!
Play style: Fast speed(for 4th Mix)/3x speed (for 11th Mix), rest is deafult
Good moments: Trying out 10th Mix, trying put some classics
Bad moments: Play tested a defective red button, cut-off short due to my family leaving, unfamiliar with some 3rd Mix songs (and system)
Songs played: Dynamite Girl, L.A. Rider, Happy Man, You Oughta Know, Born To Be Wild, Furi Furi '60, Sa-Da-Me, po't-purri de marmalade, Tentaikansoku

I came to this branch because I had a tournament event. It was the third time I have been to this branch. I tried a little bit of the 4th Mix. It was classical and great but I didn't like the way they "organized" the songs. Plus, I didn't like it on the left player side because of the makeshift strap I was using. A fellow Pinoy Percussion Freaks member told me that a GF 11th Mix and matching DM 10th Mix will be installed. I didn't pay much attention to that until the technician closed the GF 3rd Mix machine was shut down and then booted up with a pretty pink color of the 11th Mix!

I tried my hands on it but the red button malfunctioned on the left player side. It really screwed me up.

After the tournament, I decided to play a round on the GF 11th Mix. I managed to play po't-purri de marmalade. By the time I managed to play Sa-Da-Me, my sister told me that the family is leaving so I left the machine without finishing the song.

Well, I hope the other people will enjoy the game! :D
